Thursday was probably the geatest day I have had in awhile, could have been because wednesday was so awful.
Wednesday, my depression kicked in early, I felt it, so I tried to stay away from anything that would set me off. However, feeling that the producer had hated me for months, this was somewhat tricky when we got into the play. I messed up one sound Q, BAD. I had a instant feeling that the song wasn't playing, turns out it was. then I thought it was the wrong song...turns out it wasn't but i pressed NEXT anyway...BAD IDEA. I turned off the music, waiting for my next sound Q and tried to hide my tears as I was certain this was just something else the producer could gloat about.
He didn't, I think in his own way he was trying to calm me down by 'solving' the problem after the show, really his solving of problems just comes off as "you're wrong and I'm right" so it didn't really help. We went to a hookah bar but one of the actors and myself went for a quick walk. Where I told her the real issue wasn't me fucking up it was me certain that I was going to get yelled out by the producer. She helpped me realize he probably didn't hate me :P
SO THATS THAT DAY THE NEXT DAY WAS GLORIOUS. LONG BUT GLORIOUS,
as with every day of the week we have been waking up at around 11 or 12. The actor and the producer picked up food from the bakery (another common occurance while we've been here). At one point, while the actor was away, I told the producer how he was making me feel, I think we came to an agreement. We then rode the bus together (I somewhat had a feeling the actor was trying to get us alone so that we could solve the issue as this continued all day), met up with the script writer and the other actor. We went to the park and talked with them for a bit. We eventually had to go to meet up with our actor, and attend a really bad play. Then rush out and pick up a tri pod at a rehearsal hall and rush over to our own show.
WHICH WENT OVER BEATIFULLY! not a single sound mistake. You don't know how happy I was to report that in my performance log that night. After the show the actors and the producer were stopped for an interview, I went on ahead to book us a table at a very nice resturant. unfortunately I got there at 9:45, their kitchen closed at 10:00 and by the time the interview finished up we couldn't order anything. The wine store also closed but there were other places we could get wine and found a lovely little bring your own wine resturant. We sat outside, had a nice quiet meal (something we couldn't very well have at the first resturant). After supper we made our way over to an after midnight festival performance, fun time. Dance party from 2-3 and then BOOK IT TO THE BUS!
we got home earlier than usual, I couldn't sleep that night, probably just such a good night. We found out our FOH numbers and were really happy about them.
Yup that's about it.

Today was great!
I woke up and relaxed, then at about two pm i realized something disasterous! I had left two very important CDs at a rehearsal space and needed them for the show! LE GASP!
I ran outside, tried to bike but fell off and hurt myself. COntinued running down the street until I reached parc av. then i saw the bus, was like "I'll take that" rather than walk 40mins! Get off the bus, get to the rehearsal space and....IT WAS LOCKED!
Shit now I have to talk to people and let them know I fucked. up. hmm who to call...
don't want to call the director he is STRESSED!
Don't want to call the productor, reason one: he hates me and will gloat if he finds out. Reason two: his phone is dead (guess thats more of a reason one)
CAn't call the actor who left her phone at home.
can't call the the other actor who would have no idea to the code.
hmm...okay I 'll call the director.
okay he didn't pick up.
okay I'll wonder campus in hopes that someone knows the code and will let me in.
Huh...no one uses that theatre.
This is a long shot...but maybe the old SM knows the code.
...
.....
OH SHE IS WITH THE ACTOR WHO KNOWS THE CODE! SCORE!
Get in. Plug in the CD player get CDs. wait....there is one missing. ONE WAS IN THE LAPTOP OF THE PRODUCERS! Shiiiit. oh good he is borrowing a friend's phone. txt,txt back...SOLVED~
i know i said this was a good day, and it was! It was amazing. I actually needed this crazy thing to happen and screw up my day schedule so that I can just be "Hey that was the bad thing that would happen with the show" and now nothing else will happen.
Our show opened to an amazing success!
THen afterwards I took in a funny brittish comedy called the further adventures of Arnald Farnez. Twas quite good.
When I went to the beer tent I met up with the actor and sound designer (by accident but twas awesome!) then the other actor, his girlfriend and his roomie showed. TWAS FUN.
They continued onto another party.
I decided to go home, get lost, then continue home.
